Profiles in Privatization, a publication of the
National Association of Installation Developers (NAID), will feature the Newark
AFB privatization in an upcoming edition.
Newark AFB was the first, and only, privatization of an Air Force Base
in history. The article on Newark AFB
was written by writer Michael Brown of Granville in cooperation with Wally
Horton and Joe Renaud. The text of the first submission to NAID is

Striping
of the parking lot and what to do about smoking topped
the list of things noticed in this year’s Customer Satisfaction Survey. The Port Authority’s approval rankings
improved to 96% and snow removal efforts were dramatically recognized for
improvement going from a 2:1 ratio in 2003 to 6.5:1 favorable to unfavorable
ratio in 2004. The Port Authority has
already adjusted its capital plans based on input received.
