CONDIT VISIT RAISES COATC PROFILE

Phil Condit, Boeing Chairman and CEO, visited the Boeing Guidance Repair Center Friday, May 9 as part of his Point to Point with Phil Condit tour of Boeing facilities with 1,000 employees or less. His visit joins a number of V.I.P. visits to COATC in the past seven months which have served to raise the profile of COATC among defense industry and government officials. TOMORROW IS LICKING COUNTY PERSPECTIVES CONFERENCE

An unfamiliar sound will be heard on the campus of COATC tomorrow. It be a first! Two locomotives with four passenger cars will await boarding by 150+ conferees with an economic development conference. The Port Authority joined forces with the Licking County Planning Commission and the Newark & Licking County Chamber of Commerce in hosting a half-day economic development conference for community leaders on Wednesday, May 14. The event, being held at the newly-remodeled COATC Conference Center, includes national and state speakers as well as a train ride on the Columbus and Ohio River Railroad line between Heath and Hebron. Can we take your pulse? Three events in one for COATC on-Base personnel! Get your pulse taken and other health screenings by the Heath Rec Center staff, see the new improvements to the COATC Conference Center, and answer survey questions in a customer satisfaction survey being conducted by the Port Authority all in an afternoon of events in the Conference Center from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 30th.
