LIGHT AT THE END OF THE DETOUR
The start of concrete work today on the west bridge repair project is a signal of a near-end to the detours on the COATC campus. The project is now over 50% complete. Claggett & Sons of Newark expects an opening before the originally projected October 25 date.  Track the construction progress on-line.  GO TO:  http://coatc.com/project

FREE SMALL BUSINESS COUNSELING

The Port Authority offices are host to open office hours from 1PM until 5PM today with professional staff of the Central Ohio Manufacturing Small Business Development Center and the Small Business Development Center of Newark and Licking County.  Those interested in starting a business or expanding an existing small business are encouraged to attend.  The Port Authority partnered to provide these services as part of an effort to encourage entrepreneurship and spark business development at the COATC.  GO TO:  http://coatc.com/news/rel100202.htm

LAND AVAILABLE

Earlier this year, the Port Authority completed acquisition of 290 acres of land adjacent to the original 57-acre Air Force Base property.  Combined, the 350 acres of Port Authority property make up the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center campus with access to multi-modal transportation options and nearby amenities that add to a high quality of work life.  GO TO:  http://coatc.com/coatc/siteprofile.htm
