HEATH, OHIO -- The Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority will host U.S. Representative Troy Balderson for a tour of five industrial facilities on the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center in Heath on Friday, March 29, 2019. The Port Authority is hosting the visit as what it is calling a “deep dive” look at defense industry, manufacturing, infrastructure, and workforce topics at its campus in Heath.

The Aerospace Center is manufacturing-oriented and the largest defense-related facility in the 12th Congressional District employing 1,425 people in manufacturing and defense industries.

Media are invited to take part in the tours, in part or in whole. The tour begins via bus at 10:00 a.m. departing from the Port Authority administrative building and will return to the building at 12:00 p.m. The tours will commence in 15-minute increments along with travel time between stops.
