ALL-BASE UNITED WAY FUNDRAISER KICKS OFF
Cat’s Meow Commemorative of The Base Now Available
HEATH – The major tenants located on the Base Campus of the Central
Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center in Heath have joined forces to
help the United Way meet its annual fundraising goals. Boeing,
Bionetics, BAE Systems, the Heath Rec Center, and the Port Authority
are currently underway with a campaign to take advance orders for a
limited edition Cat’s Meow commemorative featuring The Base. Others
with long-time ties to the Base are also partners in the campaign,
including the Licking County chapter of the National Association of
Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) and the Hopewell Federal Credit
Union.
Orders can be taken by representatives of all participating
organizations. All net proceeds from the sale of the pieces will
benefit the Licking County United Way. A portion of every purchase
is tax deductible.
The eight inch by three and one half inch wooden commemoratives
depict a perspective view of the West Side of the Base and sell for
$20 each. Advance orders are required. The campaign will close
October 22 so that all orders can be received before Christmas.
Information and an order form can be found online at
OnTheBase.com/unitedway.
