Demolition of Metrology Building
COMPLETE
This project involved the demolition of the multi-story portion of the Metrology Building and construction of a new wall along the northern end of the single story portion of the building not being torn down. LAW General Contracting was awarded the project.
Boeing Building Entrance Upgrades
COMPLETE
This project involves the construction of new entrance façades on the east and west main entrances to the William E. Boeing Building. The west and east entrances are now complete. CS Construction completed the project.
West Parking Lot Resurfacing
COMPLETE
This project involves the resurfacing of the parking lot west of the railroad tracks on the west side of the COATC Campus. The area to be resurfaced is approximately 111,215 square feet. This project was a design build project where the contractor presented the most cost effective way of completing the project to meet the project specifications. The project included the adjustment of building door approach ramps, repair of pot holes, milling, leveling of paved surfaces, the addition of a new 1-1/2” surface coarse of asphalt and the restriping of the parking spaces once resurfacing is complete.
Loop Road Realignment
COMPLETE
The new road and parking lot has been striped and is currently open. The project consisted of a 450-foot extension of the Loop Road at COATC. The project also included a 24-space visitor parking lot with A.D.A. accessible pedestrian route across the new loop road. This project included modifications to an existing walking path, existing sewer line, and storm water system. Layton, Inc was awarded the project.
Roof Replacement Section C7 and C8
COMPLETE
This project consisted of the removal and replacement of roof sections C7 and C8 on the Boeing Building with a new EPDM Roofing System. Holland Roofing was awarded the project.
Refurbish COATC South Campus Sign
COMPLETE
This project consists of updating the logo and refurbishing the COATC South Campus sign located on Kaiser Drive.
