Horton Building Annex Painting
One of the many upgrades to the Horton Building Annex is exterior powerwashing and painting. Coleman Painting was award the project.
Post 6 Entrance
Improvements are being made to the Post 6 Entrance that will see the roof of the compressor room extended to meet the warehouse of Bldg 4. Shumaker Construction was awarded this project.
Horton Building Annex Roof Replacement
This project consists of the replacement of roof sections HA-1, HA-2 and HA-3 on the Horton Building Annex. The project includes the removal of approximately 9,400 square feet of existing fully adhered EPDM roofing and replacing it with a new fully adhered EPDM Roofing System. Kalkreuth Roofing was awarded this contract.
Horton Building Annex HVAC Replacement
This project consists of the replacement of HVAC Units RTU-7, 8 and 9 on the Horton Building Annex. The project includes the removal of three roof top hvac package units and replacing them with new units. Shaw Mechanical was awarded this contract.
2017 Storm Drain Repair
A review of storm drains on campus revealed that 12 drains are in need of repair. Replacement of catch basins will be included. Layton Excavating Inc was awarded this contract.
Building Site Pad
This project consists of the development of a site pad for a new 20k sq. ft. building on the northeast corner of the main campus. Robertson Construction was awarded this contract.
New Gas Service Line for Boeing Building
Houston Plumbing and Heating was awarded the contract to install new gas service lines on the east side of the Boeing Building.
East Side Exit Lane Asphalt Repair
This project consisted of the repair of the deteriorating asphalt on the east entrance exit lane. It was imparitive to complete the repairs before more damage is caused during the winter months. Armor Paving was awarded this contract.
Sidewalk Concrete Grinding
This project consisted of the grinding down of three high spots on the walking path. This improved the safety of the path and remove potential tripping hazards. Precision Concrete Cutting was awarded the contract.
Old Handicapped Parking Asphalt Removal
This project consisted of the removal of the old handicapped parking lot located near the west entrance of the Boeing Building.
Roof Replacement Section C6 and E3
This project consisted of the removal and replacement of roof sections C6 and E3 on the Boeing Building with a new EPDM Roofing System.
West Side Traffic Control Gates
The purpose of this project was to control vehicle traffic on the west entrance coming from Aerospace Drive onto the COATC Campus. This project included the installation of two vertical pivot lift gate systems and road work.
North and West Parking Lot Seal and Striping
The north and west parking lots have been sealed and striped. Xtreme Asphalt performed the work.
West Side Storm Drain Repair
A review of storm drains on the west side of the campus revealed that 7 drains were in need of repair. Replacement of catch basins and pipeline was performed by Law General Contracting.
East Side Traffic Control Gates
The purpose of this project was to control vehicle traffic on the east entrance coming off of James Parkway onto the COATC Campus. This project included the installation of two vertical pivot lift gate systems and a data communication tower. Steve Salyer Electric performed the work.
