The Port Authority's projects completed in 2015.

20K Design Spec Building

A new 20,000 s.f. industrial building was erected to serve an underserved market in the region. The building is finish-to-suit and expandable to 40,000 square feet. Robertson Construction has been awarded the project.

Building 124 Demo

The last building on the northeast side of the campus has been demolished. Building 124 was originally used to aid in fire protection. Layton Inc. completed the work.

International Drive

This project involved the construction of approximately 1,400 feet of roadway including drainage ditches, pavement markings, and signing. This project will also include the installation of approximately 1800 feet of water main with fire hydrants and approximately 1100 feet of sanitary sewer with manholes. Smalls Asphault & Paving has been awarded the project.

Horton Building 2nd Floor Buildout

This project involved the build out of 19,015 square foot commercial building space with finished office space. Rezod, LLC was awarded the contract.

MISTRAS Building

This project involved the construction of a 60,000 square foot industrial building with finished office space, production area, truck bays, parking lot and landscaping. Robertson Construction has been awarded the project.

Security Camera Update

To aid with Base security, the Port Authority has purchased 9 new HD cameras to install on the campus.

Bulding 52 Conversion

The Port Authority has completed a conversion of Building 52 to a maintenance facility. Electric, plumbing and removal of interior walls have allowed the building to be used for storing some heavy equipment and maintenance items.

Aerospace Drive & Bridge Improvements

This project involved the rehabilitation of an 80 foot steel girder bridge over Ramp Creek, resurfacing of approximately 1,200 feet of roadway including pavement markings, signing and storm sewer improvements. Armstrong Steel Erectors was awarded the contract.
