ON-LINE AUCTIONS

The Port Authority is making on-line auctions a regular way of disposing of excess property.  Our “test” of GovDeals.com has had two successful auctions to date.  Currently, a group of office chairs and extra paint are the items offered for sale.  Our intent is to regularly have items offered for sale on the web site.  Potential bidders are encouraged to check back weekly in order to make sure they don’t miss the latest items for sale.   You never know what might be next!  GO TO:  http://coatc.com/auction

PORT AUTHORITY TO INVEST $11.4 MILLION IN CAMPUS UPGRADES

Under the theme Planning for Modernization, the Port Authority completed an update of its 10-year capital improvements plan.  The Board of Directors accepted the $11.38 million “roadmap” for upgrade and modernization of the COATC 350-acre campus at its July meeting.  Complete details of the plan are on-line, including links to news media reports on the plan.  GO TO:  http://coatc.com/plan
