This issue is dedicated to events coming up in May here at the COATC. Expect a busy month and be sure to mark your calendar.

MAY 30—TAKE YOUR PULSE DAY IN COATC CONFERENCE CENTER
Three events in one for COATC on-Base personnel! Get your pulse taken and other health screenings by the Heath Rec Center staff, see the new improvements to the COATC Conference Center, and answer survey questions in a customer satisfaction survey being conducted by the Port Authority all in an afternoon of events from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 30th. MAY 14—LICKING COUNTY PERSPECTIVES DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
The Port Authority, in conjunction with the Licking County Planning Commission and the Newark & Licking County Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a half-day economic development conference for community leaders on Wednesday, May 14. The event, being held at the newly-remodeled COATC Conference Center, includes national and state speakers as well as a hour-long train ride on the Columbus and Ohio River Railroad line. COATC NEWS: MAY 24—1ST ANNUAL SUPER SAFETY SATURDAY
The Licking County Chapter of the American Red Cross presents the First Annual Super Safety Saturday at various venues at the COATC on Saturday, May 24. The event, designed to promote summer-time safety, will include water, auto, motorcycle, bicycle, fire, food, and many other safety activities in conjunction with craft, antique, flea market, and lots of fun and food. MAY 5—AFMETCAL FUN RUN/WALK IN HESS PARK
