FRIDAY RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY FOR INTERNATIONAL DRIVE
Roadway Ushers in Development of Speculative, Industrial Buildings in Heath
HEATH, OHIO – Heath Mayor Mark Johns and officials of Southgate Corporation and the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority will celebrate the completion of International Drive in Heath on the South Campus of the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place just east of the intersection of James Parkway and International Drive in Heath on Friday, December 18, at 11:30 a.m.
Parking is at the new building located at 701 International Drive.
At 11:30 a.m., the ribbon cutting ceremony will begin with brief remarks from officials, including Heath Mayor Mark Johns. A photo opportunity will follow.
International Drive was constructed as a joint project of the City of Heath, Southgate Corporation, and the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority. It opens up 40 acres of property on the South Campus of the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center for future site development. Speculative, industrial buildings are seen as the main target of the new development sites.
Five speculative buildings have already been built in Heath since 2011 with two available for lease or sale--a 50,000 square foot building at James Parkway and Kaiser Drive and a 20,000 square foot building at International Drive and James Parkway.
