HEATH, OHIO – MISTRAS Group will break ground Monday on a new industrial building to house its Ohio operations and laboratories on the campus of the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center in Heath. At the ceremony, plans will be announced for the build-to-suit lease signed with the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority for a new state-of-the-art facility to open in 2015. The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at the southeast corner of the intersection of James Parkway and Kaiser Drive in Heath on Thursday, August 25, 2014, at 10:30 a.m.

Parking on the development site is limited. Shuttles will bring visitors from the administrative offices of the Port Authority starting at 10:00 a.m.

At 10:30 a.m., the groundbreaking ceremony will begin with brief remarks from officials with MISTRAS, State Representative Jay Hottinger, Licking County Commissioner Tim Bubb, Heath Mayor Mark Johns, and the Port Authority. A photo opportunity will follow by 11:00 a.m.

MISTRAS is currently located in Heath at 600 Kaiser Drive on the South Campus of the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center.
