PORT AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

HEATH, OHIO – Luke Kellett has been named Director, Business Development with the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority. Kellett recently started with the Port Authority in a newly-created position with responsibilities in financing, marketing, and business development.

“The Port Authority sees the need to grow our already-strong economic development role in financing, community solutions, and economic gardening,” said Rick Platt, President and CEO. “Luke combines the unique backgrounds of both financing and marketing. His community involvement also makes him familiar, from Day One, with the needs of Licking County.”

Kellett comes to the Port Authority having worked with Fiberglas Federal Credit Union in business development since 2003. The Director, Business Development is a new position with the Port Authority responsible for managing the Potentia program, including financing programs, and leading marketing and economic gardening initiatives for the Port Authority. He is involved in the community through the United Way of Licking County and the Newark Jaycees. The DeVry graduate resides in Newark.
